Several companies (Guide Friday, Classic City Tour, Regency Tours, and Ryans, with live guides, and Bath Bus Co., which offers recorded guides in seven languages) run round the town and its more photogenic environs. Depart Orange Grove/Bog Island. All through day; shop around for best deals as prices vary from £3.80-£7. Guides variable, usually good.

Ghost walks

Bath's supernatural history from deadly earnest guides. Departs Garrick's Head pub, nightly 8pm and returns to the Garrick's Head pub at 10pm.  Tours are only available on Fridays from November 1st to 31st March.
