Ruth Harris gained a B.A. in English and Art from Reading University and for many years has specialised in landscape studies in both oil and watercolours. Born and brought up in Surrey where she still lives and works, Ruth also spends much of her time working in the west country from where her family originates. Her work includes many of the towns and villages of the south and south west of England, some of which have featured in a range of Christmas cards. She is also known for her portrait studies.
