Parking

In addition to the car parks listed below, Bath has a considerable amount of on-street parking, all of which is free to blue badge holders (BBHs). There are bays in New Orchard Street, Henry Street and Sawclose which are for the exclusive use of BBHs, and in addition spaces are set aside for BBHs in Council controlled and other car parks.

A tow-away scheme operates in the central areas to control illegal parking. BBHs are not necessarily exempt, should the parked vehicle create a hazard to safety or an obstruction to traffic. BBHs are expected to observe the conditions of their concession.

Car Parks

Parking in Council controlled car parks is free for BBHs and they are not confined to the reserved bays.
