Shopping Centres
- The Podium

You can get to the Podium from Pulteney Bridge on the way past the famous Duck, Son and Pinker, (specialising in musical instruments), or the High Street just opposite the Postal Museum. The Podium houses the central library and high street names such as Waitrose, Crabtree & Evelyn and Julian Graves; plus a number of independent retailers covering photography, jewellery, art and clothing. Upstairs you’ll find a number of restaurants including the California Kitchen who serve food all day.
- SouthGate

Well the wait is over – the new SouthGate shopping centre is here – located next to Bath Spa railway station it provides 37,000 sq metres of retail space, 3,500 sq metres of leisure space, 2,300 sq metres of restaurant space plus 93 residential units – that’s quite an impressive set of numbers! – With classic Georgian style architecture all in an open setting, it includes a bevy of household name stores including the new 125,000 sq ft Debenhams department store. Little SouthGate is situated right at the heart and has a number of unique fashion and lifestyle boutiques.
- Milsom Place

The entrance to Milsom Place can be found at the top of Milsom Street. It is classy little number housing designer boutiques, jewellery stores and of course Jamie’s Italian. If you have cash to flash then this is the place for you but it will be gone sooner than you can say ‘How much for a corkscrew!’ – It is a gorgeous little arcade and you can reach Broad Street from here via a pretty courtyard.
