Tony Livesey Radio 5 LiveWhat a great evening it was at the Wiltshire Music Centre for the Radio 5 Live broadcast celebrating Bradford-on-Avon winning the honorary City of the Year 2012 competition. Tony Livesey and team were on great form and the atmosphere throughout the evening was electric.

This quaint medieval town was first mentioned in the Doomsday Book as a thriving market town. Steeped in history, there are plenty of places of interest to visit including the Saxon church of St Laurence and Barton Farm Country Park, which is a short walk from the town centre.

The Tithe Barn at Barton Farm dates back to the 14th century, it is well worth a visit as it’s surrounded by other Medieval farm buildings (plus, a scene was filmed here for blockbuster film Robin Hood Prince of Thieves).
