Built in 1806 as the principle of six gates lodges for one of the largest estates in England, Bath Lodge has been sympathetically converted to provide high quality, character accommodation. Many of it's castellated features have been retained in the lodge rooms, such as the showers, which are situated in the turrets of the building, and the exposed beams and stone-work. The building has been extended over the years, with an emphasis on quality, and, with sympathy for the original structure.

All the rooms have full en-suite facilities as well as remote colour TV's, free satellite and video facility and hospitality trays, all of which has enabled us to achieve the AA's highest country house award of 5 Diamonds.
We are located seven miles south of Bath, so we are ideally situated for such points of local interest as Stourhead, Longleat, Wells, Glastonbury and Stonehenge to name, but a few.

With easy access and parking, something not readily found in Bath itself, and our four acres of gardens and woodland, including a stream and waterfall, and the adjacent deer forest, Bath Lodge offers you that taste of the English countryside essential to your visit. Local pubs and restaurants supplement our own restaurant (Saturdays only) including the historic 12th. Century 'George Inn' at Norton St. Philip.

All these prices are inclusive of Tax and a full English breakfast.

And remember: "The experience is remembered a long time after the price is forgotten!"
