Wentworth House hotel is an imposing Victorian Mansion with superb views. Set in an acre of gardens in a peaceful location but just 15 minutes walk to the city centre. Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in our heated outdoor pool or a quiet drink on one of the garden terraces.

The elegant drawing room has a well stocked cocktail bar and offers complimentary newspapers. There is a small private interview/meeting room available for the business guests. In our sunny Conservatory Restaurant a generous traditional breakfasts and buffet awaits you in the morning. A continental breakfast can be served to guests preferring to remain in the comfort of their bedrooms. In the evenings, residents and non-residents can order a delicious home cooked table d'hôte meal or a tasty snack.

Situated as we are, away from the main road you won't be disturbed by pedestrian or traffic noise. The hotel is ideally suited for a romantic short break, as a touring base or for business trips. We have a large private car park. For guests wishing to use public transport the city centre and railway station are just a few minutes away using an excellent regular bus service.
